I received an unexpected visit by a Thai lady from Pattaya the other day seeking my help with her nascent wine import business. Wine is certainly the most natural and unadulterated of all processed foods. With foods other than wine anything not expressly prohibited may be used as an additive. With wine no additives are permitted except those expressly permitted. This is a crucial distinction and probably the most stringent consumer protection to go unnoticed by consumers.
